Q: Why use our shredding services instead of purchasing your own shredding equipment?

A: Money - The costs your business will incur from buying your own personal shredding equipment, along with paying your well-trained employees to complete the shredding process will be extensive. Off-site shredding will save you money that could be spent on more profitable operations.

Time - What takes your employees a full workday to destroy, we can shred in 10 minutes. That leaves time for your employees to do their jobs for which they were hired.

Safety - Personal shredders leave room for operator error. Shirt sleeves, ties, and jewelry become workplace hazards and could become entangled in shredding equipment causing injury to an employee. Employee injuries will cost you time and money and will be a detriment to the efficiency of your business.

Q: How do we transport and secure your documentation?

A: Collection Containers & Bins - Secure containers and bins customized to fit the needs of your business will be provided for FREE.

Trucking - Routine truck routes will transport secure materials from your business to our secure, off-site shredding facility. These trucks are locked at all times during transit.

Shredding Facility - Our 23,000 square foot, off-site shredding facility is certified under strict security regulations, including 24-hour video surveillance. Video surveillance is available to view with appropriate authorization. All employees undergo thorough background checks and drug & alcohol testing.

Q: How do we charge for our shredding services?

A: All shredding services are priced according to the weight of the materials destroyed. There are no hidden charges or transportation fees. The collection bins are weighed in our shredding facility and invoiced per pound. The price per pound is quoted before services begin. There is no second guessing, you know exactly what your price per pound for our service will be. And, our pricing system is very competitive and cost effective!

Q: How do you know when your materials have been destroyed?

A: Following the destruction of your materials, your business will receive a "Certificate of Destruction." This document will contain the following information:

  • Pick-Up Location
  • Pick-Up Date
  • Amount of Shredded Waste (number of containers picked up or pounds shredded)
  • Destruction Certificate Document Number
  • Destruction Certificate Date
  • Destruction Manager Signature

Q: Are there material restrictions for shredding?

A: No! Our industrial shredders are capable of handling a variety of materials including stationary, three ring binders, film, audio and video tapes, diskettes and much more. Materials such as staples will not require extraction before disposal in the secure containers and collection bins. Any materials that can be recycled will be.
